Job description

Excelya is currently seeking for a QA specialist to join our Quality department and act as ambassador within Excelya. The ideal candidate will be conducting quality assurance oriented activities so as to ensure provided services are in compliance with the respective Excelya approved procedures and International and National guidelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System
  • Addressing complex issues through critical analysis and developing ethical, well-reasoned solutions
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of Quality Systems.
  • Ensure the compliance with local regulations regarding the distribution of medicinal products in Greece.
  • Capable of managing customer complaints to ensure they are addressed effectively.
  • Skilled in implementing systems to investigate deviations, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and oversee the Change Control process.
  • Serve as the trainer for personnel on initial and ongoing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
  • Coordinating quality risk management activities
  • Able to support quality internal and vendor audits when needed
  • Proficient in implementing appropriate action plans to achieve metrics when necessary.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Holds a BA degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry, with postgraduate studies in a related field considered an advantage.
  • Proven experience of two years in the Quality Assurance department of a pharmaceutical company, actively engaged in daily Quality Assurance tasks, including complaint management and investigation, internal audits, change control, and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • A strong understanding and experience with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and ISO 9001 requirements are essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of QMS maintenance and SOPs writing
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, coupled with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within teams, in a fast-paced multinational environment
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Highly results-oriented with a strong drive, and passionate about embracing new challenges.
  • Fluent in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
