The Global Quality Assurance Director (QAD) is responsible for ensuring that Excelya’s services meet both client expectations and national/international regulations. As the quality leader, the QAD oversees the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the quality management system, while fostering a strong quality culture within the team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take over existing QA responsibilities
- To implement corrective actions, conduct an internal audit to identify processes, tools and skills.
- Define key success factors to establish a partnership approach with the commercial and operational teams
- Analyze the skills gap between the current organization and what is needed to support future strategy
- Develop an FSP culture
Long-term Activities:
- Monitor updates to applicable guidelines, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain and develop quality management systems (SharePoint, LMS).
- Provide ongoing training for staff on Excelya’s QMS documents and GxP and ISO requirements.
- Coordinate all QA activities (internal audits, non-conformity management, client audits, regulatory inspections, etc.).
- Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Act as an expert advisor on quality-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze Excelya’s quality KPIs, and prepare quality reports.
