The role:

The Global Stakeholder Engagement, Scientific Communication and Claims Lead works within cross-functional CHC Global category teams and actively contributes to the development of cross functional brand strategies. In that role, their key responsibility is the delivery of high-quality, fair-balanced and accurate scientific communications deliverables, including scientific publications, training- and dissemination materials, as well as generation of insights and claims, based on our Science. It also includes planning and execution of scientific events to make CHC an industry leader in stakeholder engagement activities. In order to do so, they interact with worldwide Healthcare Organizations, Healthcare Professionals and Key Opinion Leaders to get their insight and recommendation to cover consumer and patient unmet needs and to improve their quality of life. The basis of these activities lies within the medical strategies at the core brand (and category) level.

Candidates based in Germany and Poland are strongly recommended.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

The main objectives of the Global Stakeholder Engagement, Scientific Communication and Claims Lead comprise:

  • Contribution of the development of the CHC Science global core brand strategy
  • Responsibility of the development and execution of the brand level medical strategy in terms of publication and congress/event planning and execution and dissemination to ensure awareness of key data on CHC products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Development of a key external expert network and establish relationships with relevant scientific organizations.
  • The capability of building excellence in all stages of scientific publication development, stakeholder engagement and claims generation across the organization.
  • Execution of ongoing scientific communication and education projects, scientific endorsement and stakeholder management while complying with company standards, global and local regulations: good publication practices, good scientific engagement practices, and Sponsor SOPs; in doing so, providing scientific monitoring oversight activities of vendors during the development of materials and engagement events.
  • Completion of the creation of claims library, development of new claims derived from/substantiated by scientific publications and be aligned with strategic goals, and leverages learnings for continuous optimization of these activities.
  • Utilization of new techniques and digital technologies to drive better interactions, and novel engagement solutions.
  • Interaction with medical and across science to empower and enable the achievement of results.
  • Provision of appropriate scientific input and support for all activities related to Scientific Communication and Stakeholder Engagement and Claims Generation, in collaboration with the Global Medical Leads.
  • Close collaboration with relevant teams (e.g. biostatisticians, Medical Writers, Global Medical Leads, Regulatory Affairs Managers etc.), and Marketing representatives
  • Management of budget, forecast and tracking
  • Management of contracts, purchase orders, and invoices in compliant way.

Educational Background

  • At least 5 years working experience in HCP engagement, events, publication management, claims development and substantiation
  • Strong track record in implementation of systems, or workflows and global roll out
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English

Minimum Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals, with strong exposure to Medical and Commercial activities and global process management knowledge.
  • Strong collaboration, conceptual and innovation skills.
  • Strong implementing capabilities.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional teams; strong team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change within a global organization, cultivating support and maximizing contribution from team members.
  • Experience leading without authority in a matrix environment.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills, Impact and influence competencies, ability to champion strategic change initiatives and promote adoption of best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Project/Program management capabilities.
  • Experience in managing vendors and external business partners.
  • Understands the impact of change and impact to the end user.
  • Conflict resolution, and ability to facilitate decision-making, negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter attitude.
  • Customer focus; interpersonal savvy with respect for people.
